Febrero de 2022. Después de un recorrido más de 3 años con idas y vueltas, logros y frustraciones, el primer trailer del proyecto está finalmente publicado. Con esto damos formalmente el puntapié inicial de la expedición, que ya venía avanzando en forma subterránea y ahora se expone a la luz del sol.
Muy agradecidos del apoyo y entusiasmo con el que nos fuimos encontrando.
Junio de 2023. A fines del año pasado mudamos la sede de la expedición a la provincia de Neuquén, en la Patagonia Argentina. En marzo y abril estuvimos de vuelta en la Capital y nos volvimos con cerca de 200 discos (!) de bandas under desconocidas para escuchar y seleccionar. Hay mucho de entre 2005 y 2015, álbumes de grupos y solistas independientes editados en convenio con la UMI (Unión de Músicos Independientes).
Salen los primeros lanzamientos.
Como próximos pasos, estamos trabajando en simultáneo en estas líneas de tiempo:
- Creación de un sello editorial, para poder representar a los y las titulares de las canciones que venimos encontrando en forma legal y transparente.
- Una serie de entrevistas con bandas “extintas”, con responsables de disquerías, periodistas, artistas en carrera, y demás personalidades del mundillo, juntando material para próximos contenidos audiovisuales. Parece que algo de esta historia va a decantar en una película.
- Pruebas piloto de regrabación, remezcla, remasterización, sampleo, etc. de algunas de estas datas.
